Well I know I have shifted too far my sleep patern, but there are indeed things keeping my mind busy.
As I have not slept this night, I keep my finger crossed to stay buzy until tonight without having a nap, before crashing on my bed and reseting the clock back on time. I don't like these no sleep/short sleep nights anymore. My thermostat is completely disorientated now.

Yes that happened to me last year and it leaves a level of exhaustion. Try to get a lot of physical exercise today if you can. Have you practiced relaxation techniques - i learned some through Alexander Technique that helped me go back to sleepl rx

Hey OS, yes it is horrible when this happens - I hope that you can get the sleep pattern back - nothing worse than not feeling well rested at the beginning of the day. UM xxxx

Although I hoped it wouldn't happen, I did get a nap yesterday between 11 and noon. But to prevent me from sinking too deep into sleep I kept the radio on loud enough. So after about one I managed to leave the sofa.

At 6:30 pm, I went to bed, hoping for a long night of sleep. But by 11pm, it was over. I feel rested, but it is the middle of the night, and in a few hours I have appointments. Hopefully I'll get some more sleep before.

OS - this is a really disrupted pattern. Can you try to go to bed a bit later tonight? I try to wait until at least 9.30pm as it is easier to wake up at 3am than before midnight. rx

I managed to get about five more hours of sleep last night - usually, when I'm as tired as I was because of the lack of sleep, I easily do a 12 hours nonstop night, sometimes more. But tonight I won't be in bed before 10pm.

That sounds wise OS. I am trying to hold out too - i am absolutely exhausted - been up since 4.30am but don't wish to sleep too early as i fear waking in the witching hour. Rx
