Ten months after my husband admitted to an affair with a work colleague, I am still in so much pain, so hurt, shocked, devastated, heartbroken, torn apart, humiliated, ashamed, angry, jealous, obsessed, so deeply, deeply wounded. We are trying to work things out but he continued to deceive me for another eight months, keeping in touch with her and lying to me about it. This further betrayal hurts even more than the affair itself. Yes, I am angry with him but I feel almost murderous towards the other woman, due to her conduct and attitude, for being a selfish, spiteful, hypocritical liar and for upsetting my children. I started off feeling compassion for her but this has turned into contempt. That makes me ashamed because I am a Christian and should be able to forgive. Its become a double whzammy therefore because for the first time in my life I feel hatred for another human being. I hate HER.
