  Although I now tend to think I can still "build" my own family, first I had to understand what I endured since birth to know who did what in my life. With him, the picture is pretty bleak.

  Yes OS - I think that is true - the families are our here and now - the ones that help to support us while we unravel all of the crap from the one we were born with. Do you know a piece of music that has two distinct moods like these lives of ours? UM x

  Yes, you do have to understand that childhood, and acknowledge it, and know that what was done was wrong and you were wronged - NOT that you were wrong, because babies and children are never "wrong", the adults are -

  You can paint your own life, your own picture, and paint it with music and friends, and joy, and laughter - you have all the power, now!
