Your brick story

I love both. They are both incredibly peaceful places to me. If, when I go to Heaven, my place is a plain next to a mountain with a beach right over the hill, I'd be happy to spend an eternity there. :)

yes - and what combines both is a sense of space - a reaching into with no confinement - land/sea scapes that you can just walk into - endless and yet not overwhelming
