I'm not an alcoholic - but thought the quote was decently correct in what family thinks of me!

I sit here at my laptop with the first drink I've had in a little over a week, but much longer before that.

I felt like I wanted one today - not sure why, just did. I ignored the feeling and forgot about it once I got out of work. I drove over to get my eyebrows waxed - thank goodness - it was time! As I did that, I realized Robin was behind me and pulled into the same parking lot. I called her up, asked where she was headed and she said to the liquor store and then the ATM. We talked for a minute and I said I would meet her over there. So I went.

I got my usual wine cooler like substances! As we walked to her car, she continued talking about my hairdresser because I talk about her every so often and how much she rocks. She asked if Megan would do a good job on her hair because her hairdresser is out from surgery for a while. I replied - OF COURSE! HA.

So tomorrow she's going with me to my hairdresser, although I'm not getting my hair done - such a pity because it needs it! I just can't afford it this week - even bigger pity!

But we will get together - if all remains the same. I look forward to that, it's been a long time. I enjoy her company outside of work. It's completely and entirely different, although for a while there, she was starting to get more personal at work ... probably not too good if you're a senior manager. Today while talking to another employee of hers, she mentioned that we went out ... I almost did a nose dive into her forklift ... jumped on top of it and covered her mouth! I get afraid when people know about it ... because I don't want either of us to get in trouble.

Anyway ... so here I am with my drink, getting very sleepy and will head upstairs to bed in a few minutes ... and it's only 8:00 pm ... but was awake since 3!

But tomorrow ... THAT should be a good day.
