Your brick story

As a nurse I deal with death and dying all the time but something today made me think about when my Dad died,he died suddenly without any warning and never got to share my grown up life. I still miss him,even after 23 years.

Hi claracluck, my heart hurts for you - my dad died 26 years ago and in a way I have felt fortunate that both my parents died of cancer and I was able to say everything I needed to say and listen to before they died.
I can't imagine what it would be like to lose a parent suddenly without this time. In a way it eased the grieving and the sense of loss. Thinking of you UM xx
