he talked about this one book several times over the year, but told me he didnt read. he knew i'm kinda a practical shopper--getting him something he wouldnt use isn't my style. i didnt think he'd ever expect it.

but when he opened it up, his whole face lit up and it made me so happy. he told me later it was his favorite thing...

this year was different. i think i felt so happy because you could feel the family aspect. it's the first year we've been a family together. i'm so happy.
