  It might make you feel better for all of a few seconds ... but the feelings that linger after will never go away. As a child from a household that did find it acceptable ... I can honestly say it's damaging. I cringe every time I hear a sound similar, watch something on tv that's similar ... anything similar. We are here "on the wall" more than willing to listen to what happened ... Just know that you have people here who care and want to know the story. Like roze said ... breath ... take a moment away for yourself.

  Sounds like you need some time out - I wonder why we can't have child care on the Wall - it does just about everything else.

  I reckon that some days boarding school would be an answer - but really it is about me not about them - so maybe I would have to go - no I would never survive boarding school.

  So then I think that a block of chocolate to share all around would be the answer - or keep it to yourself if they have been naughty.

  No, really, I can't imagine anything more horrible, except for binges on booze and drucgs and your children thinking you are dead when they find you crashed out on the floor face down in your own vomit.
  I was pressured into bitting a child once. The threat being that if I didn't he would throw the child across the caravan park... it is the most horrible thing I think I ever did to another human being.
  Get a punching bag you all can use when you feel angry or so frustrated. Keep it in the garage (if you have one). Somewhere not in the ordinary living space. That's the only idea I have at the moment.
