Your brick story

i split up from my boyfriend of 2 years at the end of 2006 and for a year he was trying to get me back but i always thought it wasnt enough. i also was lying to people which ended up in me lying to myself, i kept saying that i dint want him back and that i didnt love him when all along i really did. it took me till the end of 2007/ begining of 2008 to realise how i felt. most of my friends an a few of my family members dont like him which didnt help the sittuation. i told him i want him back at the end of jan 08 an he is unsure if he wants me or wants other people. he says he was past caring anymore when i let him know how i felt. he still hasnt decided what he wants.

iv tried to show him i love him an that i want him an done everything to let him know i do.
i dont know what to do anymore should i stay by him till he knows what he wants or shall i leave an decide for him aswell as hurt my own feelings in the process????

You love him.
Other people you love don't like him and that makes you wonder.
He says he loves you - but it sounds like he was hurt by your behaviour.
Does that sound right?
While you love him and he loves you then accept that this is where your relationship is and just enjoy it. It may not be forever - or it may but it is not okay to make a decision for others because they are not ready to. That way everyone gets hurt and no one is taking responsibility for themselves.
Just hang in there and trust your own instincts and what he says. If something changes, then you might need to refeel (new word!) what you might do. Take it easy and don't rush yourself or your boyfriend.

thanks i understand what your saying its just hard to do so.
i tried talking to him last night an he says the main reason he dunt know is because he says the passion has gone an thats what makes him want others.
i m not sure what to do about this tho, everytime i try he just seems to turn away or talk about work an his plans for his car.
i think it might be that he is streesd about work ect an thats why he feels this way but i cant help but think its me an its puttin my confidence down.

Well there you go unreal, sometimes we can't help but think we are responsible for what we see in others and we take on too much responsibility.
You might need to have a short saying that you need to keep in your mind when these thoughts jump into your mind. Something quick like. "I am not responsible for everyone's feelings" or "I won't feel bad about me because he isn't happy today".
I don't know - you might hear better words for yourself in your own heart. Just think about what you would tell your best friend if they told you how they felt and keep saying it to yourself.
You sound bright as a button and I reckon you can do this :) UM
