Your brick story

The Black Kites have gone, the sky seems empty and silent, and it means autumn is on its way. In fact, it will be there tomorrow already. Sigh.

Do you struggle with Autumn OS? Is there not something in the falling of the leaves that is as the flight of the Black Kites - a need to signal a need for space before new growth? love roze

What I struggle with is Summer. Its August but when I look outside, except for the trees, it could as well be October. We've had some nice and warm days here and there during the last couple of months, but the rest has been too loosy to be called Summer. So yes, I enjoy the leafs changing colors and finally falling to the ground, but then it will be grey, dark, cold and wet for months, while Summer has barely showed up for a few days.

I can relate heavily to that. The last couple of weeks grey, cold and wet days do not help my mood with self. Any chance you can take yourself off for some reliable sunshine for a while? Rxx

Speaking of Autumn, I saw tonight that on many of the lime trees that border my boulevard the leafs have started to turn yellow. So to balance things a bit in my mind, I've listenned again wednesday's Proms.

Yeah. Not only did they play the Symphonie Fantastique in a fantastic (that's the word) way, but they even played two great and very different encores. A very positive manner to end the day.

Wonderful. I am just under the tutelage of a friend who is a great opera lover. I have always enjoyed opera but she is inducting me to Wagner's Ring which is quite something!

I believe you that it must be something. I haven't been able to enter Wagner's world yet...
