  So you have crows in the city - our crows don't come into the city much - we have native birds and a couple of exotics that chase them away. I love their glossy black feathers best and their call reminds me of living in the bush - it makes me feel so much at home

  Yes, we've got crows, sparows, two kind of pigeons, magpies (because of the park), blackbirds, tits, pipits (not a big bird, very nervous and you can't avoid its chirping...), grey wagtails. In general, people don't like crows, because their sounds are not the nicest, but also because they adapt themselves too well. Contrary to human beings, they stay in couple their whole life.

  Well I understand that crows deserve their reputation for being adaptable because their great great ancestors were the velocoraptors - that fierce and cunning dinosaur. Little wonder they are so adaptable given what they have been through in their species. Gotta respect them though for that don't we?

  But I love the sound of a crow - but I didn't know they stayed coupled their whole life - them and elephants and I wonder what else?
