Indeed it is hard to feel neglected - yet if your friend knows how strongly you feel about your infertility perhaps she just feels that she reinforces your pain through her pregnancy?   neglect is rarely intentional

  and her husband likely is genuinely jealous of the time she spends talking to others on the phone - isn't it possible he could feel equally neglected?
