Your brick story

My mum has had depression for years and her medication has allsorts of side effects such as making her tired. But recently she forgets what she is saying mid-sentance and repeats the same story to me over and over again. I worry that this is a sign that her depression is worse or maybe something else, she's only 53 but I worry it might be the start of Alzheimer's or something similar. And since I've recently left home i worry about her even more.

Hey Ecogeek, I just found an article about the importance of sleep and memory - if her medication is making her tired maybe she is so fatigued it is affecting her brains ability to sort out her memories. She is only 53 and that is a worry so rather than letting it play on your mind might be to speak to your doctor and ask for some advice - don't try to speak to her doctor as they probably won't say anything specific.
You could start a TA and see what other Wallers have to suggest to you.

Perhaps your mum has had a mini stroke. Sister who recentl had her second, has similar issues.
