Today, well this morning, my little baby brother turned 19.

I cannot believe he is growing up so quickly. It feels like it was just a short time ago that he was in elementary school, then middle school and then high school. He is now a freshman in college.

With him growing older, it makes me feel so much older. I don't feel the age I am, I just don't. The other day while helping someone at work. She asked how old I was and I told her two years younger than I actually am - stopped and recalculated and told her my actual age. I felt silly.

Time is flying quicker and quicker. My mother will be 50 and the plans for a very large party are in the making! My father just turned 60 last month ... I never imagined myself at this age, nor my parents or siblings.

My brother doesn't celebrate birthdays, but I wished him a happy one anyway. He still wants gifts and recognition, so calls it his 'regular day'.

So to my little baby brother (as he sits with his friends at a football game) ... HAPPY REGULAR DAY!
