Your brick story

I always thought that it was odd that of the four children in my family there was only my brother and I who appeared to be "similar" - somehow it felt like we weren't really like every other family in the little town we lived where they looked more like photocopies of each other than separate people.

I always liked the idea of feeling like others in my family.

Take Wolfie's family for instance - now you know why I feel envious! :) Will the real Wolfie please stand up?

Well, Cherry, I simply have to wade in to this one - I firmly belive that a Rotflol is a kind of Norwegian icicle shaped like a large rodent. I know that this is an esoteric field, the study of animal-shaped icicles, so don't mind you all not knowing that.

Yes, UM, much as I like Jomo's definition, Cherry's was more along lines I was thinking. "Rolling On The Floor, Laughing Out Loud." Certainly, no arms and legs were flailing or getting tangled; alaa, no "Twister" for them! A little dodge ball though wouldn't be a problem. (How else do they learn not to be injured though being hit, kicked, punched, bounced, thrown into walls or worse, chewed on in slobbery mouths - there's a lot of danger out there for balls to learn to avoid. So, I suspect, learning how "The Essentially Eccentric Roll" is the first thing they learn so to avoid the biggest threats known to balls - humans and dogs.

Oh I just can't do this acronym based communication - it feels like scrabble - but I do like the idea of the study of icicles shaped like animals - but I have heard that there is a deeper connection with the people of the north east faces of the Himalayas who have adopted the icicles that are animal shaped as their spirit guides - a lovely idea - quite useful in a wintery climate when the wildlife is asleep.
