The other day, my friend asked if I wanted to spend some time together today. We both had the day off from work, so it seemed ideal - perfect! I quickly agreed, not listening to exactly what we were going to do or where we were going to go, it didn't matter.

We text messaged back and forth, confirming and explaining. It was decided that I'd head over and we'd do a few of her errands, which coincidentally turned into half of my own!

I got there a bit late (I'm always late) and her mother was there. Apparently she was extra excited to see me or something, she's hilarious. We both had some things to do before we left. She needed to get dressed and do her hair, etc. and I had to do the same. I left half my makeup at home, so used hers. It's always nice to use someone else's, especially hers ... it's much more different than my own.

We went to get the oil changed in her car and then to the eye doctor to get her eyes checked and a prescription for contacts. As we were waiting a moment, we started trying on all of the glasses on the wall. We put on some really cute ones and then turned to the really goofy ones - the ones with big old lenses - hilarious! As we were doing that, she said something of me making this into a brick ... and I quickly agreed. The entire day I was trying to remember specific things, funny things that we said or did ... things I could put on a brick.

After the errands, we headed home to cook. I felt bad because I couldn't help much, but she assures me it was fine! We ate an awesome dinner, she cooks so well and I love it. Her girls were acting goofy as we ate dinner, it was too funny.

There are so many personal moments within the day that I enjoyed ... moments that you say to yourself, "I'm so glad I have this friend." I'm slowly learning to not over think with her. We are friends, we get along ... we both surely have our moments *me more than her*, but it's all fine.

Tonight I am going over to her house and we are going to hang out and make some drinks. I have to go into work first which kind of stinks, but she is there, so it's not so bad. I had a lot of fun doing absolutely nothing productive with her, although it was very productive for her ... it was simple and enjoyable and I'm glad I went.

I better be off before I'm late ...
