  thanks for your support! it won't really change my day to day living kind of like getting married after years of living together....but i have earned it and it does lift most of the restrictions on where/how much i can work.

  stillllll waaaaaiiting...i did see on my credit card statement that they charged me £750 on 3 sept!!! it annoys me that they take your money and then just let the app sit there...

  This is so typical of how it works here. They took a friend of mine through such hell last year - and then refused her stay as she applied to remain under a long-term same sex relationship. I think the first selection criteria for these folks is bigoted, mean b******. Hang on in there tracya! Rxx

  still waiting...i'm now five weeks into this nightmare. apparently because the whole system is changing to a points based system the home office is inundated with applications!!!!
