Your brick story

I wonder how many of us have ever felt like this.

Hearing him say that reminded me some memories of my youth, when I needed to test myself or my knowledge but couldn't because there was no one with whom to try, either because I didn't felt confident enough with them or because I was simply subdued.

I think this is not something that is often available to the younger adults - unless they are lucky enough to have a really wonderful mentor - this is something I think that features in friendship of the older adults who are also perhaps more disposed to listening than they once might have. There seems to be a prerequisite life experience required to value this. ant

I completely agree with the prerequisite you mention - that where an adult, whether the parents, a teacher, an uncle, aunt, a grandparent or a friend could become a mentor, if you are lucky. os~

Uh-oh, I'm a adult but I'll tell you this is pretty much how I feel right now! Kinda scary, but I know it will all come together soon :)
