Your brick story

"I'm cute and well-hung, and I'm looking for the same."

"If you're more than 30, don't lose your time." He is older than 30.

"I'm looking for the charming prince who will help me to get out of my loneliness. He must be cute, not too taller than me, love sex, and blablabla."

"Where are you, you, the man of my dreams ?"

"Winter is coming, and it would be so great to have someone who'll keep me warm during these cold nights."

"You are hairless, sexy, not older than 25 ? It might be the beginning of a great relationship."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alright everybody! These are a few examples of what I was told by some guys either in the gay scene or through internet dating. There is also what others have written in an attempt to meet at last the charming prince.
Not too satisfied by all this, I've written classifieds in my own way, so to let the others know what kind of relation I was looking for. The result is not better. There are those who simply try their chance and answer to everyone, even if they are looking for sex only while the guy to whom they are replying is searching for something more. Then their are those who only swear by how you look, usw...
So when I tried to go a bit further and clearly said with more details what I wanted, no one answered at all.
I know it's still uneasy to be gay in this world. There are many people who believe that we are sick and should be cured, there are others who fear the difference probably because their are uneasy with their female part, but to date, I've never met as much rejection than with gay people. All that because of conformism and fears.
I really wonder how and when will I meet my partner.
    No way that I want to minimise your trouble at all, Overseas - but I think that many of the adverts for any gender or whatever are much the same - I read them sometimes with disbelief - if all the blokes want tiny, sexy women, or tall, buff, younger blokes, why aren't they all together, then? Where are all these perfect peeps? Tall handsome older man, financially secure, seeks funloving younger handsome and blah blah blah. Why doesn't advert no. 3 get together with advert no. 7 and just get on with it?
    If THEY all just got together, then the rest of the ordinary folk might be able to find companions and loves, also!
    Sorry - it just makes me fed up - everybody requires perfection from everyone else, and not themselves...
    Good luck -
    No reason to be sorry Jomo, as I am as much fed up as you are by all that circus.
    I wonder if these people are at all connected to reality - or is it that they get off on being part of a fantasy of seeking make believe happy endings.
    When and where overseas? no one ever knows that - just keep living I guess xxant :)
    Yes they are connected to reality - their reality!!! And either you enter it or you can't be part of. I've made the choice to keep my integrity. os ~~~
    Hey OS, yep see there's what I mean also, the shallow/selfish people... but, you have it right - Keep YOUR integrity - I believe everything happens for a reason, and there is someone out there for all of us. And in the most unexpected way/place it will all happen as planned, just my thoughts :) ~Doll
