  This is really beautiful. How did the leaves get to be so shiny? I love roses but don't like to grow them because of the thorns: I inject myself with insulin twice a day without batting an eye lid, but if I get pricked by a thorn, I can't stand it.

  The original picture is of course quite a lot better. This is not actually my favourite but Roze doesn't want a pink rose so this is my next best. I get spiked several times a day: my autumn raspberries have decided to invade my rose patch so I have to fight my way through to pick them and even they are quite prickly. There's going to a some severe 'ethnic cleansing' come October!

  Shiny Leaves: I think Well-bred roses tend to have shinier leaves than the more natural ones. There's another rose on my wall whose leaves are even shinier - its called Braveheart. BB

  Hi BB = She send a brick telling everyone she was goign on holidays for 2 weeks. I donlt kow hwo to link bricks but I'm sure a cleverer perosn will direct yout it. I think she'll be back end of this week -ish.

  That explains it - I don't often see bricks - must try harder. They always say 'Think Cxxx-up before Conspiracy', don't they. Me? paranoid? - well maybe or perhaps just a wobbler.

  Harmony: Have a look at my Spanner brick which tells you how to do Links [you can't do a link in a Brick Comment and Safari won't allow one in a TA comment either]. I made it a long time ago so let me know if it needs improvement.
