  Hello muffin - This is a landscape that I am not familiar with - my guess is that it is a cold climate - At the moment you it looks still and peaceful but I have noticed you tags and now I am wondering if that is just an illusion.

  Oh goodness - this is such an interesting photo - not at all like the propaganda we see on the news of the Taliban and soldiers of the west. I am used to seeing deserts and dust.

  Now I think I had better run off to Google earth to have a better look around but probably there will be too many areas blanked out because of the war. Poor people of Afghanistan - one minute they are being fought by the Soviets and then by the US and her friends. I hope all of the soldiers there can return to there homes safely. I think that that it is time for some peace.

  it is - and a sad place with all the fighting going on in the hills. I wait for my daughter to return safely - she is out there somewhere. Mx

  Yes Muffin, I am hoping that she returns safely. This must be a stressful time for you as a mum - gosh I am still dealing with my kids walking home from school. This is for life isn't it these worries?
