  Actually I really do salute nearly every magpie I see - and I see a LOT where I live! Perhaps I am keen to appease them!

  I may go search for a picture of a boarder collie - as well as the cocker spanial, Honey, we had a lovely boarder collie who began to give birth to her pups when whe was way down the back yard, near the river. After one pup emerged, she carried it back up the hill, and gave birth to the rest of her pups up in the house. :) Has anyone ever heard of anything like that?

  So, we all have associations, whcih come back from time to time. Some fond some not. I'm really pleased when I find those that are fond and warm. I worry though, if I continue to think too long, something will creap in, to spoil the memory. I just want to frame those moments and let no other assoiciations encroach upon the boundaries I set....is it reasonable to expect to have that kind of control?

  I think I know the answer to that...don't want to say it. Just want to stay with Lady and her pups.
