My friend has rung to say he is breathing without a ventilator - he is screaming loudly and kicking wildly so that's the best news we could hope for someone who arrived so early.

What a relief! What an end to what is my friends first mother's day.

How bloody good is that!

Brilliant news. I'm so happy a new life has arrived and seems ok. Yes the next few months will be hard especially as these premmies lose weight before gaining . I speak from experience one of mine was 8 weeks prem. Cheers and celebrations are in order, the care these days is great.
