Your brick story

This is my favourite Italian poem. It's by Leopardi. It's about silence, space and (my interpretation) inner peace. It makes me think of summer days, sitting outside, alone yet not really feeling lonely. It makes me think about taking time out to appreciate life. These days I rarely have the time to do that, and it's easy to dwell on the things that go wrong, or the things I'm unhappy with. So I guess for me it is a reminder to think of the positive things in life.
