Your brick story

I tried so hard to change because what I did to myself hurt the people who cared about me. I sleep with people because thats all they ever wanted from me, and now I'm realizing that all I ever wanted was someone to be attracted to me for anything other than my "good looks". People think my life is so beautiful because I'm the girl who can get any guy she wants, what they don't realize is that I can get them in bed. Afterwards I become invisible again. Its finally getting to me and I don't think I'll be whole again. I don't think I could survive hurting my friends and family again. I know I won't be able to continue on this way.

Hello luxom, what a very heartfelt brick and I think you have struck a chord with everyone who has ever had a one-night stand that they feel bad about afterwards. Validation through sex is not really validation at all - I think we all know that girls and guys can sometimes have very different views on sex.
How often does this happen? Could you start by setting yourself some goals? Perhaps go one month or two without sleeping with someone. Decline when they ask you and see what happens. I suspect you will see a different behaviour from the guys.
You are beautiful on the outside and you need to build up your inside so that you respect who you are. You can do it - you have beaten two very big addictions and I am sure you can do it again.
