Your brick story

I can cope in front of a crowd, but I hate that I'm not musical. My extended family are all performers and my father makes his living as a singer - he was very famous once. So why can't I sing too? Then he might have taken an interest in me, and I'd have a place in our little community.

Maybe your definition of musical needs to change. I can find music in art, photography, mathmatics, etc.
Maybe your music just needs a different voice. Don't wait to be given a place in the "little community" make your own!
