I'm sure some of you have heard me whining about working a second job, I've been waiting tables about 30 hours a week*up from my usual 20* to earn christmas money for the kids. I work 8a m - 3 am on fridays, 5pm-3am sat, and 5pm-3 am sundays, then get up at 6 am to go to my regular job. I have been doing this for three weeks..and made almost $300 for my kids. I F'in rock :)

My mother rang me to say that the bread and butter pud I cooked for her last week was the best she had ever tasted! (and it was DAMNED good even if I do say so myself!!)

(I painted my fingernails black for an experiement, they dont look so good!)

My brag for the day is that i kept very cool as my daughter created a trail of glitter - during Christmas card making - that now traces every single place she went in the last four hours - and she is one active kid!! And i am pretty proud of my dark red toe nails (but hide my hands in gloves!)

I don't have kids, but I can brag about getting 3 straight days in for violin practice. Not easy to do when your 44 and work all day. But I feel blessed that I have enough freedom and energy to do it, and maybe some people will enjoy the fruits of my labors.

My brag is that I finally got all my Christmas shopping etc. done, wrapped and ready to give out on Friday. (usually I have it done by Mid November, but haven't been in the mood the past couple of years.)
