I was having a conversation with a friend today and we got to talking about how our doubts about the people we love may be more a reflection of a lack of confidence in how loveable we see ourselves as. It is a bit of a mess in my head but i know there have been times when i really cannot understand why anyone would want to love me. ANd i don't mean that in a self-pitying way and i am not without confidence. It is maybe that 'real me' thing - would anyone love me if they knew the real me.... It is probably best to ignore this post - i think i may be rambling.

I understand completely Roze, I have these thoughts too.  Sometimes I think that if my married love knew me better he would be shocked and wouldn't want to be with me.

One of the reasons I trust the opinions in my Personality Traits thread is because I have known these people for years (Daggar over 30, Wyn - 5, Sild - 15) and they know the 'real me' and love me anyway. I treasure them.
