Folks, few of us who have been following Bill's thread for the last three months can fail to have been affected this week by the sad news that his wife had lost her fight against cancer.

He was one of the first people I ever exchanged messages with starting back in October last year and I admit that I cried when I heard the news. 

We had quite a lot in common and supported each other a lot. I felt very close to him, or as close as one can be in a virtual environment like the wall, although I suppose that says a lot about this site and the people on it.

Anyway, I subsequently contacted him and told him that myself and some others felt we would like to do something to support him through his grief.

Bill's request was that we create bricks on the wall dedicated to his wife's memory which he will be able to read whenever he likes and which, one day, he may show others.

So, should you wish to do so I know Bill will really appreciate it.

And one final thing, Bill is keen to remember his wife for who she was and not for her illness.
