I admit, I don't worry about it too much...just appreciate when everything runs as it is supposed to, am glad to hear from them from time to time, am glad they are there to help with any technical problems, questions etc. Lovely people - maybe they are all named "Emily".
We have a radio programme in Australia, called Late Night Live. The presenter refers to the listeners as "The Listener" or, following a sort of competition (I don't think there were actual prizes) where people suggested a name to use, to give The Listener a name. The winner was "Gladys", from then on, all listeners to his programme are "Gladys", whether old or young, male or female, whatever their ethnic origins - indeed, now people can hear it over the Internet, "Gladys" could be froma anywhere in the world. It feels so warm...so maybe we can do that here. The Team can be "Emily".
I like to refer to people on the wall as "Wally" - they say we are "Wallers". I say "Wally" for one and "Wallies" plural, and us Aussie Wallies are "Wallabies".
I rather hope if they respond they answer you privately, because I like my game.

And like Mebenji I am an aussie "Wallaby" but also a "glady" and most of the aussie here only found the Wall by listening to that radio network so we seem to have quite a lot in common as well as our love of anonyminity.

As for the team - my guess is that it is probably some being with advanced powers that has found a special gene that negates the need for sleep and seems to know how to do everything to keep this place going. Sometimes it is like being a kid at the time that things just happened - food appeared on the table at tea time, milk came from bottles and money came out of mum's purse. - It just happens.

Alright, Carol, I just clicked tha little 'about us' at the very bottom of the page, and saw a goup of other links within that page, one of which is 'meet the Team' - Anyone and Everyone is welcome to do that, There's even a video one can watch if they wish. Anyone might, if they with PM the Team as well. There is no barrier to doing that. For those who want the answer to you question - I think, by all means, go get it. Just leave us who don't our option of remaining blissfully ignorant. That's a win-win for us all.

The 'about us' bit says the founder came across a project by accident, who were painting a white wall and then writing whatever they felt on it, which gave her the idea for the big white wall internet network.

The video of the project says it was done with the support of the big white wall.

The 'meet the team' link does'nt give any specific information and I'm a great believer that the 'divil is in the detail' especially on the internet.

As it is Sunday here, I guess the team will be able to give out the information tomorrow. I look forward to it. I think the wall has its value but asking questions about who runs sites and why does too.
