    report

I went to my friend's house yesterday to see the new, well 6 month old baby. She's cute etc and does all the things that babies should but I couldn't help noticing that she is enmormous. Not just a bit chubby, but really enormous.

My friend fed her whilst I was there and gave her a huge bottle of milk, probably 12 oz, which it took the baby over an hour to finish. She just kept moving her head to avoid drinking it, it was so painful to watch.

Could she be over feeding her? Do I say anything? I just feel a bit helpless, but I have got children and know it shouldn't be like that.

well id best not say anything.
parents can be very defensive when it comes to raising their children.
she could take it as you criticising her.
you dont say whether its her first child or not.
She herself might be unsure and so doesnt know how much or little to give.
you could have a subtle conversation.
maybe ask hows shes coping, how the baby is feeding things like this.

i suppose being overfed is better than underfed.
    good luck x
