Users of Big White Wall can send private messages to each other and the number of new messages you have received is displayed next to your avatar at the top of the page. To view your messages, click on the small envelope or visit your inbox at ‘My messages’ under ‘My profile’

To send a message to someone, click the ‘Send message’ button on the user’s profile page.  If you have enabled notifications, you will receive an email when someone has sent you a message
